A team of CW colleagues led by Abby Tsang and May Ly represented CW CPA to donate 300 kids masks and 400 adult masks to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We serve the community in the spirit of love.

CW is one of the Corporate Partners of Project WeCan.  In view of the latest development of COVID-19, Project WeCan noticed that some schools may have difficulties in sourcing essential sanitary items.  Last month in March, CW, together with other Corporate Partners, were invited by Project WeCan to donate sanitary items, such as masks, hand sanitizers, etc. to the participating schools to prepare for their class resumption.

With the assistance of CW’s friends and colleagues overseas, we had bought some surgical masks from all over the world at the beginning of COVID-19.  We count our blessings.  We shall continue to serve, walk that extra mile to contribute as much as we can to the society.

Work-Integrated Education Industry Partners Appreciation Gathering

CW has been supporting the internship programs of different universities and charitable organizations.  Throughout the year, especially in summer, students of different universities and secondary schools come to CW to have their internships in our various departments, including Audit, Company Secretarial and Business Development, etc.

CW joined the Work-Integrated Education Program of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  Last summer, two accountancy students from the Hong Kong Community College and SPEED had their internship in our Audit Department.    As one of their industry partners, we were invited to the Appreciation Gathering Ceremony on 8 November 2019 at Cordis Hong Kong.   Our Administration Manager, Mandy Lau, represented the firm to attend the ceremony.   CW will continue to support the internship program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Project WeCan Partners Sharing Session

Since 2017, CW CPA has been a partner of Project WeCan, a Business-in-Community initiative empowering disadvantaged students with opportunities to pursue higher studies and future careers.  Every year, Project WeCan organizes Partners Appreciation Reception to thank all the partners for the support and contributions to the Project. Besides, Partners Sharing Session are also held for the partners to share their ideas and experience.

Earlier this year, the Partners Appreciation Reception was held in May at the Government House and the Partners Sharing Session was held recently on 27 September 2019.  Ms. My Ly, Senior Manager of our Company Secretarial Department joined the session.  Project WeCan partners shared volunteer programs and stories and exchanged ideas among themselves.  It was an enjoyable networking among the partners and guests.
