CW stays active in Macao as a co-organizer of the “5th Young Entrepreneurs Forum of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”
CW CPA was gladly invited by the Portugal-China Young Entrepreneurs Association (“AJEPC”), to join the Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (“PLPEX”) at the state-of-the-art Venetian Macao for the 3rd consecutive year. For the first time, CW CPA also co-organized “The 5th Young Entrepreneurs Forum of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” (“Forum”) as a major event at the PLPEX on 18 October 2019 (Friday), together with our two close business partners, Ren He Qi Bang (Heng Qin) Joint Law firm and Vong Hin Fai Lawyers & Private Notary. It was a full house with more than 200 businessmen and company representatives.
Our partner, Mr Thomas Wong, was one of the panel speakers at the Forum. Welcoming the guests in Portuguese, Mr Wong was enthusiastic about the strengthening of the business relations between mainland China and Portuguese-speaking countries, such as Portugal and Brazil. When asked about the role of the newly opened Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge, Mr Wong mentioned that the “economic and social matters have been brought closer, with trade, interaction, logistics and transportation facilitated”.
At our PLPEX booth, our three Brazilian colleagues, Rafaela Mendes Pieritz, Kelly Rolim Bosanquet and Kemelly Morais Vera, were present and explained to myriads of visitors about the distinct advantages of Macao as an investment destination. Our booth served as an advisory desk where many interested businessmen got to learn about our firm and our advice regarding business set-up in the Greater Bay Area.
Macao is becoming a popular business location for Portuguese and Brazilian entrepreneurs. Eyeing on Macao’s role as a platform for China’s economic and trade cooperation, CW is actively looking to assist them to route their investments to the Greater Bay Area (such as Zhuhai) through Macao. CW will continue providing the keys that open the door to the region.
