The 4th Edition of China International Import Expo 2021
As the 4th edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2021 started on the 2nd week of November, local and international brands actively participated in the event designed to help them take the first steps into the Chinese market. Although the current travel restrictions are still in effect, the CIIE still attracted international brands and products being showcased for five days and offered the opportunity to connect buyers and sellers. CW has participated in the CIIE every year since it was first launched in 2018. Over the past few years, we have noticed an increasing global interest due to the attractiveness of the Chinese market to many international businesses.
Invest Shanghai Roadshow – Science for the Future
CW’s Shanghai office was invited to attend the Invest Shanghai Roadshow – Science for the Future on 20 October 2021. During the event, Invest Shanghai showcased various local and international shanghai based projects. These projects are related to different areas of innovation, such as remote control labs equipment, electric flying cars, smart devices for early detection of cancer, etc.
Visiting the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai
On 12 October 2021, CW visited the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and met with the Vice General Manager, Ms. Saar Leroy. The Benelux Chamber of Commerce is the Benelux business platform in China, with over 350 members consisting of Large Enterprises, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and individuals with an active interest in developing their business in China.
A visit to InvestHK Shanghai Office
Our Shanghai-based Mexican Senior Advisor, Marant Caballero, and, Shanghai-based Business Advisor Susie Chen visited the InvestHK Shanghai Office on 15 November 2021. They had a fruitful meeting with Philip Kung, Head of Investment Promotion of InvestHK Shanghai Office.
